1st hurricane

Being from Delaware, we don't have hurricanes, we don't even have alot of rainy days. So my first reactions to Gustav were slim to nothing, I wasn't worried at all. But then, our RA's made us sign papers so they'd know where we were and all the girls on my floor were packing to go home. That's when I started getting a little worried. I went to my brother and sister-in-laws in Mandeville and from there we went to Destin, Florida. I had the most amazing time there! Don't get me wrong, I love everything about Delaware beaches and wouldn't trade them for anything. But there was just something about the white sand and clear water in Florida that was striking and I'd go back in a heartbeat. However, upon my return to school, I missed two days of classes and had alot of making up to do. So the hurricane and my trip to Florida turned out to be not as exciting as I thought.
