Life in Mississippi has been rough for me: I haven't been home in about 7 weeks and I am extremely homesick! It's hard adjusting to life on my own; I can't go home if I need anything or if I just want to sleep in my own bed or if I need that little black dress I forgot to pack.. you just kinda deal with it. I am trying my best to put a smile on here at USM but I miss my family, friends and boyfriend very, very much.
Although, I have been pretty busy, which helps keep my mind off good ol' Delaware! Last weekend I went to New Orleans for a Chapter retreat with my sorority. And what an experience I had on Bourbon Street! I've only been to New Orleans maybe 2 other times but never experienced the night life of it all. And this weekend I'm going camping with some of the girls and plan on going to the football game. I'm pretty excited about the football game because it's my first USM game. And of course, schoolwork and classes have not only been keeping me busy, they've been stressing me out. But, I planned a trip home on October 3rd and I couldnt be more excited; I'm like a little kid on Christmas morning who got everything they wanted!
