SPRING BREAK
I went home for spring break - big surpise. It was cold home but it was a relaxing break and I got to spend quality time with my family and I got to see my twin brother too! It was also the week before my birthday so my mom took me to the mall for some shopping - always a good time when I'm shopping. My boyfriends 21st birthday was this week also so we had fun celebrating that. I also went to my high school to visit my old teachers. It was so wierd walking the halls where I spent the last four years. I don't miss high school at all though! I went out to lunch with my friends from back home and caught up on their lives.
Muddin'
I went home with my friend to Jackson, MS for a weekend but from there we went to Delhi, LA to go fourwheeling. We went with a group of boys from her hometown that she is friends with but we drove seperatly. It was about a two hour drive to Delhi and a fun roadtrip we had - jamming out with the windows down and the music up loud. When we got there, I was soo, soo excited I couldn't stop screaming of excitement. The place was pacckkked with shirtless guys and fourwheelers - my favorite. We had so much fun mud ridin' all day and met tons of people. I ate crawfish for my first time! The good times kept coming until we found out that my friend and I had misplaced her car keys. Even though we planned on spending the night at the park, we needed to find them!! We decided on going to bed and looking for her keys in the morning. No luck. They were lost! So we drove back to Jackson with one of her guy friends to get her spare key and they drove us the two hours back to Delhi to only find out that her spare would not work because it did not have the disk in the key required to start the car. Two hours back to Jackson. Then I got a phone call from one of the other guys and he told me that he found her keys in one of the fourwheelers. Four more hours of driving! We did so much driving in those two days but it was worth it - we had so much fun. I know I did anyway. And lesson learned - keep track of your keys!
Mardi Gras Break

I got to fly home over Mardi Gras break because my mom missed me so muchh! My brother, sister-in-law and nephew came up for the break too. It was a pretty exciting weekend - my mom got a new car so I got to see that for the first time and she had the bedrooms in our house painted! She also threw us a "Mardi Gras' party - yankee style. It was tons of fun and great to see everyone. She made southern food and we even had hurricanes. I didn't get to see my twin brother though because he didn't get off of school for Mardi Gras in North Carolina. Which reminds me, he is taking classes there all summer so I will not be able to see him. I am kind of excited though because it will be like I am an only child and I will hopefully get spoiled! I am going to make a roadtrip to Charlotte and visit him! Anyway, Mardi Gras in Delaware was fun - even though I missed out on New Orleans.
missed alot
So, I’ll start off by saying how I have not been keeping up with the blogs at all this semester. I cannot believe how fast this semester came and went. In only a few days it will be summer! I am very excited to go home and spend time with my boyfriend, family and friends. buuttt, I like Southern MUCH more now than I did last semester. In fact, I think I am coming back next year. My boyfriend doesn’t know this yet and when he finds out he is not going to be a happy camper.
I guess what I will do since I have so many blogs to write is for each new blog I will tell about something fun I have done this semester.

hAPPY fEbRUARY =)
So, we're almost a month into the second semester already!! Time is flying by and the weather is getting nicer by the day - I love it! I had an amazing winter home with my family and friends. I went to the beach for a weekend, spent a weekend in the pocanoes and went skiing for the first time, and I did fun things such as ice skating, bon fires, movies & going out to dinner. I didn't want to leave everyone but at the same time, I was ready to come back to Hattiesburg. Now though, I'm ready to go home again! Schoolwork is keeping me very busy though, and my attempts to workout everyday.

44th president
Barack Obama is our new President as of Tuesday, January 20. I watched some of his inauguration on tv. My brother, however, had the oppurtunity to spend the weekend in Washington DC. He got to watch, in the mess of people, Obama claim his place in history as America's first black president. It was a day to remember!

winter wonderland
Even though summer is my favorite season and Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, winter is so pretty. There is nothing prettier than christmas lights glistening off of untouched snow in front yards. Along with winter comes many fun things.. you get to start decorating for the holidays and put up christmas trees and put up christmas lights in your yard. You go to sleep with you pajamas on inside out so that maybe you'll get a day off of school from snow! You get to go sledding and make snow angels. I love to bake homemade cookies, go iceskating and cuddle in front of a fire and drink hot coco. You get to spend time with you family and give gifts to each other.
